Her passion for fitness began at the age of 14 when she started working with a personal trainer to elevate her soccer game to the elite level. This experience not only shaped her athletic career but also sparked her lifelong dedication to helping others achieve optimal well-being through coaching.
A former collegiate soccer and track athlete, Brittany holds a master’s degree in Integrative Health, equipping her with the expertise to create individualized, client-centered wellness plans using the latest strategies in preventive health and lifestyle behavior. She is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the Stretch to Win Institute, and Pre- & Postnatal Coaching.
Brittany’s active lifestyle includes soccer, hiking, and middle- to long-distance running, reflecting her commitment to leading by example and inspiring her clients to pursue their fitness goals with compassion and diligence.

For the past 20 years, I’ve owned Evolution Trainers, a 14,000 sq ft personal training and wellness facility focused on longevity and strength for life.

Nicole Dessoye’s passion for the connection between mind and body began as a dancer at an early age—a passion that blossomed into a professional dancing career in Philadelphia, New York, and San Francisco, and then eventually lead to her founding a cutting-edge fitness and pilates studio - The Corner Studio - in San Francisco.
Always eager to diversify and progress her knowledge of the body, Nicole is Pilates, NASM Personal Training and Original Strength Training Certified.
Her unending quest to better her clients led to her acquiring a BFR (Blood-Flow Restriction) certification in 2024. This cutting-edge training method allows clients to make significant gains in muscle mass, strength, and endurance with lower resistance and less intensity. A game-changer for clients who have injuries, limitations or are heading into mid-life and beyond.
Through more than 25 years of teaching and training, Nicole has developed and refined a tailored approach to expanding the mind-body connection of her clients, allowing them to move better, feel stronger, and progress their mental approach to functional movement.

I’m a fitness entrepreneur, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor of more than two decades. Teaching group fitness started as a hobby in college in the late 1990s and turned into my lifelong career.
Pilates is one of my soulmate workouts. It has been the most consistent piece of my fitness journey as a working mom. Pilates grounds me and keeps my whole body feeling strong and aligned.
I’m well-known in the fitness industry and now mentor others in my women’s mastermind group, podcast, and blog through my Calm & Confident brand.
I started using the BFR bands through Ashley’s coaching program 18 months ago. I have loved learning more about the science and enjoying the results. At 50 years old, I feel young, fit, strong and pain free. My back and knees feel better than ever. I have found that lifting lighter for shorter amounts of time each week with the bands has been a great recipe for success, in addition to my normal activities.
My family and I live on the shores of Lake Huron in beautiful northern Michigan, where I enjoy sunsets, paddle boarding, dog walks, yoga on the beach, live music, backyard bonfires—and yes, even winter while buried in snow and ice.
